I thought it was fitting, since it was Memorial Day weekend, to go back in time. After all Memorial day is a day for remembrance.
My family and I went to the Black Hills in South Dakota to look back. Remembering as it were. Which seems fitting since we find ourselves in Mercury retrograde where the energy forces us to look back.
We were able to see the awe Mother Earth created way back when.
This is not to say I did not pay homage to the many hero’s we have that keep us safe from harms way here in the US.
The fallen and the living.
I appreciate everything you’ve done.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I am very grateful you followed your calling to keep us safe. Without you this world would look differently.
When I left on vacation, my concern as always, is how I make money while I’m off playing. This is a particular concern since both my husband and I are self employed. But that morning as we prepared to leave I had a specific song playing in my head. “Weight” written and performed by The Band.
The band sings about taking a load off. And it doesn’t cost anything! I’m all about taking advantage of simple easy concepts and even better when it’s FREE!
As the lyrics say- all you have to do is to put the load right on “me.” Me is presumed to be God. This song was a message. All I needed to do was give up my “load” (concerns) over to God. And then I could have a good time. Which I did gratefully.
So for four days my family and I traveled all over SD looking at what Mother Earth created.
Complete with seeing three rainbows. Two of which I managed to successfully(?) capture.
Along with the views created by mother earth, god, the heavens above or whomever, we were blessed to experienced what another person saw as his vision.
While Gutzon Borglum’s vision could have been thought to be overwhelming by anyones standards, he never gave into the naysayers, expressing concern that something of this magnitude would not be able to be accomplished. Turning a deaf ear he followed his heart and made it happen.
So TODAY, here are a few steps to create a calm peaceful existence in your life.
1. Give your “load” over to God.
2. Check in with your heart to feel what you need to create.
3. Make it happen even if other people think it’s impossible.
4. Remember-If you can think it, it can be accomplished.
5. Don’t sell yourself short letting others defeat you even before you get started.
The first step in any creation is to see it for yourself.
The rest is up to God and the Angels.
So take a load off, Fanny
Take a load for free
Take a load off, Fanny
And (and) (and) you put the load right on me!
I was able to recoup and energize bringing in all kinds of creative thoughts. How about you?
