I’m going back to my roots!
Not my childhood roots. My business roots.
For the past 13 years I’ve been known to most of you only as a psychic medium.
I’m very good at it and based on client feedback, you agree.
I LOVE helping people connect with their guides, and energetic tools and techniques to help them achieve lasting results of greatness.
As a Medium, I LOVE reconnecting people to the persons who have passed away in their lives.
BUT, those two modalities are not all of what I do. I offer far more I’m passionate about. 🙂
Most of the time sessions with clients are about finding their passion. Their true purpose here in this world.
The questions they’re most concerned with are usually about how to make more money. What type of business they should be in and what will make them happier. They want to hear why something’s not working and what they can do about it. And MOST of all, they want to hear what their purpose is so they can lead a more stable quality of life.
First of all, passion and purpose is not something you look for. It’s what you feel when you’re doing something that makes you happy.
Finding your purpose in life, is only about what makes your heart sing. What makes you light up feeling on top of the world when you do it.
Your passion/purpose IS what you’re doing when you’re having FUN.
It’s what you MOST enjoy in life.
There is no one single thing you “should” do. You were born only to live happy, healthy, and most of all, enjoying what you do day to day.
I also have passions in the holistic health care field. Specifically “nutrition for healing.” Herbs, and even more importantly Flower Essences. Coaching, helping you obtain a higher vibrational level. The very reason I call it Vibrational Life Coaching.
And let me not forget Shamanism, which is healing of a different kind going through the soul using aspects of Mother Earth, the animals along with the sun and moon energies. Not one modality is more important than another.
My passion is ALL of it TOGETHER. My purpose is to teach.
I know it’s my purpose because I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do. Or at least it was what I loved.
These last few years I found myself in a place where my business, and personal life seemed to be taking a nose dive.
No matter what I tried, I couldn’t figure out what the problem was.
Then it struck me!
I wasn’t having fun!
I found myself concentrating only on what made me money.
Of course I have to make money, I have a business to run.
So then what was my problem??
I found I’m not really a money person.
Just making money is no fun for me. So I stopped making money since I had no passion for it.
I found I was only concentrating on business trying to make everything work.
I lost the purpose behind what I do which is to teach.
So I began to look at my “overall” business.
I looked at what made it successful and what didn’t. I looked in every nook and cranny.
What I found was I MISSED working in all the modalities. Even though readings are fun, they’re not my everything. I did my other work occasionally but not as much as I liked.
Early 2000 I found myself licking my wounds after a lengthy drawn out emotional divorce. I found myself sick, and even more tired of being sick, trapped in a life that was not working for me. Years prior I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism on medication foolishly thinking that would take care of everything. I suffered from depression wanting to kill myself many times even while on anti- depressants. After destroying my digestive system when I was 21, losing 98 pounds in less than a year after having my child, I developed an auto immune disorder and IBS. The auto immune disorder made my body attack itself. And IBS, (Irritable bowl syndrome) keeps me from eating variety and absorbing nutrients. Both were caused from digestive, thyroid and emotional issues. Thinking you’re bullet proof at 21 you can’t really expect to be healthy eating only one meal every other day, surviving on diet Dr. Pepper the rest.
I was so tired of being sick I trained as a Natural Heath professional (CNHP) and went to work on myself. And now I help others. To this day I take many classes a year just to stay current in this field.
I’m no longer on meds for thyroid even though I was told I’d be on them for life. I stopped taking anti-depressants and worked with Flower essences instead. I made an overall lifestyle change changing my eating habits first. Now I eat nutritionally dense healing foods to combat auto immune and IBS and all the rest.
What did I learn working on myself??
Working on your body is the first step in the process to finding your purpose. After all, you cannot be happy or think rationally if you feel miserable and sick all the time. No matter how many readings you have, your body and what you put in it will decide how you think. I didn’t need my guides to point out what was wrong. I already knew that.
This is the precise reason for redoing my website (coming soon). I was tired of not doing what I Love to do. My new site is set up to address ALL the issues on why a person feels trapped, stuck, sick, sick and tired of being sick, living a life that just sucks.
Why should you look at what you possibly left behind??
In this day and age where we’re taught to stuff our emotions and search for solutions not caring about what happened in the past you miss some important components.
You’re passion might be back there.
In the midst of feeling like shit you might have shelved your passion because you feel terrible, don’t have the strength, can’t seem to trust your intuition and you’re probably thinking nobody would be interested in it anyway, just as I did.
I caved and shelved the highest passion/purpose I have just because I was tired, not thinking clearly and, my clients continued to want readings with little more. But as time went on, I could see I was the one suffering.
No matter what, you will be forced to go back to what makes you feel good and have the most fun with. God wants it that way!
I was! You probably will find yourself going through the same things too.
- Don’t try to figure out how it will all fit with what you do now.
- Just devote time to what you love.
- Start working with it even though you aren’t making money at it or don’t know everything. To quote one of my instructors “all you have to do is stay one week ahead of everyone else.”
- Don’t ignore your gut feelings because you can’t see a way to make money.
- Let yourself PLAY with whatever lights your fire.
I took the classes. Still do.
I practiced on myself. You can to0. Practice on your family and friends.
The point is, just Have FUN with it.
My first passion even before I became a professional psychic medium was the work I did with Ayurveda.
Ayurvedic medicine — also known as Ayurveda — is one of the world’s oldest holistic (whole-body) healing systems. It was developed thousands of years ago in India. It is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. It was, and still is, a perfect fit for me and my business. I’ve always believed you need to work on all three of the energy bodies at one time to heal.
There are 10 actual physical body types such as tall and stick thin. I think we all know someone like this. They can eat anything it seems and never gain an ounce. There is also pear shaped, apple, and seven others. All of the body types are prone to different genetic diseases.
In Ayurvedic there are three main energetic body types known as Doshas called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
- Vata is prone to digestive issues. Much like an apple body where you carry most of your weight in the middle section, is prone to diabetes.
- Pitta is the strongest of the three thinking it can eat most anything, and they probably can. These people could eat a crusty moldy steak sitting on the counter for the last few days and not get sick. However, these people are not bullet proof and are prone to imbalance too. You can identify a Pitta imbalanced man by a bald head or bald spot.
- Kapha people are the most sensitive energetically carrying the most weight and fat in order to protect themselves from unseen energies.
All three body types are affected by the different seasons. And since we are just leaving Fall, we’ve been in Vata imbalance season. Possibly making you feel like no matter what you try, your life still feels like it’s falling apart. You’re searching for your passion to make yourself feel better when in fact, you’re just affected by Vata season. You can’t find your passion, because you shelved it some years back.
During Vata season Many people experience:
Physical exhaustion or tiredness.
Restlessness with scattered thoughts.
Dry skin and lips due to dehydration.
Indigestion, bloating, and gas.
Some things you can do about it:
- Drink LOTs of water. Add a dash of Sea Salt Apple or Pear juice to help the body absorb it.
- Eat warm foods such as easily digestible soups free of dairy (dairy creates a lot of mucous is hard to digest and is full of hidden sugars.)
- Eat foods with warming spices such as cumin, paprika, turmeric, fennel, garlic, and ginger.
- Eat easily digestible fatty proteins such as dark meat chicken or turkey. Fatty fish such as Salmon, sardines and seafood.
- Eat steamed or roasted foods that are in season such as roots vegetables like beets, carrots, parsnips, and rutabaga.
- Eat winter squash like Butternut or Buttercup.
- Avoid cold raw foods.
Of course there’s more.
This is just a tidbit to get you started towards a balanced body. This is why I have opted to challenge myself to better blogging writing articles on the Body, Mind, and of course, Spirit.
And now that I’m following all of my passions faithfully, you will see my new website live very soon.
Stay tuned for more.
Many blessings to you!!
