You were born with an agenda or plan. It’s recorded in what’s called the Akashic Records (meaning: from akasha, the Sanskrit word for ‘sky’ ‘space’ or ‘aether‘) are a compendium of mystical knowledge supposedly encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the astral plane.
Alice A. Bailey wrote in her book Light of the Soul on The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali – Book 3 – Union achieved and its Results:
“The Akashic record is like an immense photographic film, registering all the desires and earth experiences of our planet. Those who perceive it will see pictured thereon: The life experiences of every human being since time began, the reactions to experience of the entire animal kingdom, the aggregation of the thought-forms of a karmic nature (based on desire) of every human unit throughout time. Herein lies the great deception of the records. Only a trained occultist can distinguish between actual experience and those astral pictures created by imagination and keen desire.”
I, on the other hand, want to remind you that you don’t need to have a trained person to read your records.
You have them.
They’re stored in your heart. Where you tend to get messed up when trying to access them, is when you try to figure it out in your head.
Before you were born, you went before God and you both decided what was best for you to be and do during your life you have now.
However, when you were born you forgot what you agreed to, but your heart never has. The information has always been stored in your heart. Your purpose for what you’re supposed to do here on earth has always been in your heart.
What you like and love to do is your purpose.
Getting quiet with yourself and asking will show you the way. It’s all in there. Don’t ask how, just do.
TODAY, get quiet with yourself (others would say this is going into a meditation. I don’t, only because a lot of people get so hung up on thinking they’re not able to meditate. Meditation is really just breathing slow, being quiet, and listening to yourself) Once your quiet, ask a question. Not a lot of questions. Start with just one. When you feel you’ve received some sort of answer write it down. And then, JUST DO….get moving. Go for a walk, clean the house, go to work, do the laundry, play with the kids, talk to a friend, go to a movie, go out to eat……do something. Don’t sit around trying to figure out what you just received, or what it all means. All you need to do is write it down, and then live your day today.
Sometime today, tomorrow, or possibly the next day or beyond, it will all begin to make sense. All because you just did something today. 🙂
